Jim Kerr ist seit Jahrzehnten die Stimme und Mastermind der Simple Minds und veröffentlicht 2010 sein erstes Soloalbum unter dem Namen Lostboy! A.K.A Jim Kerr. Dies bedeutet keineswegs das Ende der Simple Minds, sondern Jim Kerr hatte einfach Lust neben der Arbeit mit seiner Band ein Soloprojekt zu verwirklichen.

Jim Kerr ist mit dem Album ein großer Wurf gelungen, nicht nur stimmlich, sondern auch als Songwriter überzeugt er auf ganzer Linie. Das Album wurde von Jez Coad produziert (der auch die letzten beiden Simple Minds-Alben produziert hat), erstklassige Musiker wie Charlie Jones (Robert Plant, Goldfrapp) und Mel Gaynor (Drummer der Simple Minds) haben an dem Album mitgearbeitet. Jim Kerr wird mit seinem Soloprojekt 2010 auf Clubtour in Europa gehen.

Das Album erscheint neben der normalen Version mit 11 Songs zusätzlich als „Collector`s Edition“ mit 2 Coverversionen (Velvet Underground/The Verve) und als „Deluxe Edition Digipak“ mit 3 Bonus Studio Tracks.
