The producers out of Sweden previously known for high quality 7" reggae and dancehall singles present their first full length two riddim album "Roots Tonic" with 11 top tracks built around Junior Kelly's smash hit "Rasta Should Be Deeper" and "Leader" with 9 tracks incl. Gentleman and Sizzla tunes for the first time on CD.
After the successful debut 7" selection with the "Leader" riddim in 2004, and the follow-up "Roots Tonic" a year later it's now time to sum this up with the release of a 2 riddim album. This compilation features the cream of the crop from the riddims above, including five completely new and previously unreleased tracks, four of which are on the "Roots Tonic" riddim and one is on the "Leader" riddim. These new and exclusive songs make it well worth picking up this album even for those who copped the 7" singles.
All of the songs were very well received both on the radio circuit and in dancehalls with Junior Kelly's "Rasta Should Be Deeper" being the high mark for his current VP album "Tough Life". This song scored high in different charts world wide, as well as several weeks as #3 on the German Reggae Charts.
