“Meet The Now Generation” presents the 1972 work by The Heptones, one of Jamaica’s greatest vocal trios of all time, produced by Joe Gibbs. These songs are among the first recorded by the group after their stint with Studio One. The tracks are compiled on one CD for the first time and also include deejay versions (with U Roy and Dennis Alcapone) and rare dub mixes.

Featured musicians (The Now Generation) are Mikey ‘Boo’ Richards, Val Douglas, Michael Chung, Geoffrey Chung, and Robbie Lyn. All tracks were recorded and mixed at Joe Gibbs Studio & Dynamic Sounds. CD package includes liner notes by reggae historian Steve Barrow.
The Heptones were: Leroy Sibbles, Barry Llewellyn and Earl Morgan.
