It is a common fact that knowledge is power and the education system is failing our children. Without power we are nothing and it is evident the world needs someone or something to teach the important facts of the world.
Let us introduce you to Down I Go, not only a musical headfuck of noise, but teachers of essential historical events.
'This Is Disastercore', the London trio's debut album for Undergroove, as its name suggests, documents some of the world's most terrible disasters from the view point of the victims or the force behind it.
It is not a sick joke, but a novel way of dealing with world events through noise experimentation and groove.
Including songs about The Hindenburg, The Great Plague, and The Challenger Space Shuttle, Chernobyl, the Extinction of the Dinosaurs, the sinking of the Titanic and many more, 'This Is Disastercore' is 13 disastrous tracks of brutally evolved hardcore, recorded entirely in the confines of the band's London abode (including the full string section and hand claps).
Already Down I Go has self-released their now deleted and sought after debut 'This Is Dinocore', documenting the life and times of the prehistoric beasts.
'This Is Disastercore' is the second in the 'core' series.
Down I Go's third and fourth series of 'core' albums are already underway.
