“In the golden light'ning
Of the sunken sun,
O'er which clouds are bright'ning,
Thou dost float and run,
Like an unbodied joy whose race is just begun”
To a Skylark is a precious poem of Percy Bysshe Shelley, one of the greatest British romantic poets. Under the same name we gathered our artistic efforts, inspired by “all the earth and air”, translating our emotions in a melancholic and psychedelic experience; melting “drops so bright to see” into the sunken sun, trying to generate rains of melody.
“Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought.”
Enlightened by the mist of the northern Italian alluvial plain we assimilate the 70s prog attitude converting it into restless distress that only an out-of-focus metal struggling shall convey.
“Teach me half the gladness
That thy brain must know;
Such harmonious madness
From my lips would flow,
The world should listen then, as I am listening now.”
