Elektronische Musik und gute Songs schließen sich prinzipiell einander aus?
Singer/Songwriter Songs langweilen mit ewiggleichen Sounds und Strukturen?
Hier ist die Antithese dazu.
KiloWatts & Vanek sprengen die obenstehenden Vorurteile in ihre Einzelteile und eröffnen mit ihrem Album "Focus And Flow" einen eigenen Klangkosmos. Das belgisch-amerikanische Duo brauchte 4 Jahre um ihr Album "Focus and Flow" aufzunehmen. Dann stellten sie es Mitte 2008 auf ihre Website.
Ein Fan fordert die beiden auf, zwei Konzerte in Deutschland auf einem Festival für elektronische Musik zu spielen. Erst hier treffen sie sich zum ersten Mal in persona.
In KiloWatts und Vaneks Album vereinen sich Fokus, harmonischer Fluss und schlicht und einfach das Beste der organischen und elektronischen Musik.
