Thea Crudi was born the 19th of May 1988. Her mother is Finnish and her father is Italian, so Thea speaks english, italian and suomi (and also german and french). At the age of 14, she begins to study Modern Singing with the teacher Gessica Lusetti. At 16 she discovers jazz and she studies with great jazz musicians like Sandra Cartolari, Martina Grossi, Michele Donati. She studies also Baroque music with very important artists like Pamela Lucciarini, Luca Scandali,... She has also the opportunity to attend workshops with the most important international jazz artists, like Sheila Jordan,Maria Pia De Vito and Roberta Gambarini, always finding excellent confirmation. At 17 years old she begins to perform in clubs and theatres, like Teatro della Regina of Cattolica, Teatro del Mare of Riccione. In June 2006, just turned eighteen, she continues to study jazz in Berlin; she performs in the main clubs of the city (B-Flat, A-Trane, BeBop), joining the jazz musicians circle.
