2006 gegründet, spielten VELVETSEAL schon nach einem Jahr und einem selbst produzierten Demo mit Szenegrößen wie DEATHSTARS und BATTLELORE auf dem Gothica Festival.
Nachdem die Reaktion der Presse durchweg positiv ausfielen, ergatterten sie einen Plattenvertrag bei Dark Ballance Records und veröffentlichen nun Ihr Debüt „Lend Me Your Wings“.
Die episch-symphonischen Arrangements und Synthgrooves, gepaart mit heruntergestimmten komplexen Gitarrenriffs und abgemildert vom klaren und wunderschönen Gesang von Frontfrau Gabriella unterscheiden VELVETSEAL deutlich von Genrekollegen. Ein Debutalbum, dass das Zeug dazu hat die deutschen und europäische Gothic-Metal-Szene aufzumischen.
