Who is Dank & Jammy??!!
If you don't know, ya better ask somebody!
In Winter 2001, J Rawls and Declaime meet on the Superappin Tour and have a ball all over Europe, acting crazy and buggin out. J Rawls notices that nobody on the tour can even hang with Declaime with the herbals! Even with his eyes red, he constantly rocks shows. Hence the name Dank Sinatra Ol Red Eyes was born!
Fast Forward a few years and the two spend about a week together on the Vegas Strip to get inspiration and trip out! Herbs, Sprite, crazy breaks, and an overall silliness filled the studio, as the two invited some of Rawls' homies over to join them. The album sounds like a lounge show on the Vegas Strip. I mean, from beginning to end, it's really a show! Dank and Jammy rap, sing, philosophize, mandate, discuss, and even illustrate new ideas for you to chew on and think about. Basically it’s just a fun record that gets you open. So open it up, put it on in, and enjoy the show!
