Over the last decade Diz has emerged as one of America's most successful and globally popular DJs. Only Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak and Mark Farina can be considered amongst his peers. Together they are often regarded as 'The Truth', perhaps because their styles are so unmistakably genuine and unique, yet seemingly effortless. In Chicago, during the early 1990's, Diz, DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter and Mark Farina pioneered a new style of playing records which essentially amounts to the live remixing of records by playing (or blending) multiple records simultaneously without disrupting the groove.
On "From Home With Love", Diz completely captures the spirit of the underground mixtape that can be cued up again and again for years. This mix is accessible and laid back, warm and deep, and will be well received by Loveslap's audience former releases include the "Heartbeat" series with Julius Papp and David Harness, and "Loveslapped" with Jay J.
