Avey Tare von Animal Collective sagt z. B. über den Beitrag der Band zur Compilation: "We're psyched!: "It's really an honor for us to be able to work and contribute to music that is so special and inspiring to us."

Kuratiert wurde das Projekt von Crammed Discs-Chef Marc Hollander, der über das Projekt sagt: "We had originally planned on releasing a single CD, but had prudently asked over 30 artists to take part. The response was overwhelming, and the tracks so great that we ended up doing a double-album. All in all, a great experience! We're now thinking about a possible live development of this project, but that is another story."
